We offer the gold standard of Golden Retriever puppies. Our puppies are all trained from birth with early neurological stimulation training. Making them the perfect Golden to bring into your home 8-weeks after birth.
Working with Rockvale Puppies was a pleasure. Rockvale Puppies was by far the best breeder we have worked with in our experience (Bo is our fifth dog). Todd thoroughly answered every question and provided us with lots of information about our dog. Once we selected our pup, he sent photos and videos to let us see our Bo before we got to meet him. We were happy to have the vet records and appreciated his attention to genetic testing for his Goldens. Todd so clearly loves his dogs, and it’s a family affair. His son came with our pup to keep him company until we could get to our pick-up spot. Our new family member has the sweetest disposition and has fit in with our other dogs beautifully. I highly recommend this breeder. We couldn’t be happier with our new addition.

Our English cream golden is now 11 weeks old and is a real sweetheart. We have had her for 2 and 1/2 weeks, and appreciate her having already been crate trained by Todd, who obviously loves what he does and works well with people. He has followed up with us several times. Our puppy quickly slept through the night and has shown a calm but alert nature, and our 5 grandchildren just love her as do we. She has adapted well to our sometimes chaotic household. She even tries to get the grandkids’ 70 pound Bernedoodle to play with surprising success. We feel that she will continue to be a positive influence in our house for many years.

We can’t say enough good things about what a great experience we had working with Todd and Rockvale Puppies! We had a bad experience with a breeder in the past so did extensive research and feel so lucky we found the perfect place to get our new puppy, Penny! When we were starting the process Todd and Kathy were incredibly helpful and responsive and gave us all the information we needed, and then continued to send updates along the way. It made us feel so reassured that Todd and his family were taking such good care of all the puppies from day one. We brought Penny home right before the holidays and she is a beautiful and SUPER SMART girl. She recognised her name within a couple days and responded to simple cues so quickly. She adjusted immediately to our large family and older dog, probably due to the wonderful time and effort Todd and his family took to socialize the puppies early on in their lives. We ABSOLUTELY HIGHLY recommend Rockvale Puppies!!

Todd clearly cares about all of his dogs. He raised our puppy, Bailey, until he was 4 months old and Bailey came home to us as a happy and healthy puppy who is incredibly calm, sweet, and well behaved. He loves being around people and has been a great addition to our family. We definitely recommend Rockvale Puppies!

We brought our golden retriever puppy home from Rockvale Puppies 5 weeks ago. The process of working with Todd was and continues to be excellent. From our first phone call, followed by Todd sending us photos and videos of the golden retriever puppies born just a few days before, his frequency of communication, responsiveness to questions, and expertise as a breeder have been wonderful. As other reviews have noted, he continued to send us photos, videos, and updates throughout the 8-week period that followed. Our visit to Rockvale Puppies was completely satisfying and the environment was well maintained, very clean, and seemed quite comfortable for the puppies. It was important to us to find a golden retriever puppy raised with plentiful and positive socialization experience in the first 8 weeks as well as having good health and healthy parents. In this Todd shines – he raises the pups with lots of contact with his young children as well as adults. This was critical as we have young children in the family and wanted a puppy that was friendly and not fearful of children (or grownups). Bodi has been amazing in this way – he is friendly, curious, playful, and loves being with the children. He has a wonderful temperament: calm, intelligent, open to new experiences, easy to get to “potty” outside only and responsive to training (and has a lot of puppy energy and exuberance!). When we asked Todd for his advice regarding crate and house training, he gave us excellent recommendations about a few things for which we are very grateful. We continued the crate training and sleeping schedule he started the pups on, and Bodi has been extremely easy with the nighttime routine – sleeping quietly through the night for 7+ hours and no potty accidents in the crate beyond the first couple of nights. He adjusted easily and well in the transition to our home. We are happy with the entire experience of working with Todd and Rockvale Puppies and highly recommend them!

From the moment I called Todd (as a referral), I could hear his passion for animals, and in our case golden retrievers. He was always available to answer our extensive list of questions and provided impromptu updates multiple times a week after the puppies were born. It made my family feel involved with the puppies from the moment they were born. My kids especially loved getting updates and seeing the puppies grow up. It was wonderful when our family had the opportunity to go to Todd’s home and visit the puppies. We could see they were being raised in a clean, spacious, well loved home by Todd and his entire family. Even after we brought home Izzy and Leroy, Todd continues to be readily available to answer our questions and help in all way possible! We would absolutely recommend Rockvale Puppies to anyone! Todd was amazing to work with at Rockvale Puppies! Our entire experience was flawless and thorough. I researched a handful of breeders nearby and there was no question about our decision once I heard back from Todd. He was very responsive and kept us involved in our puppy’s life the entire time. From start to finish, my experience with Todd was A+. We did a lot of research in our quest for an ethical, trusted breeder and I’m glad we did. This is NOT a puppy mill. I was immediately impressed with the timely, transparent communication and weekly+ photos and videos of the puppies. We got to meet the litter at 6 weeks where it was immediately evident that they were well cared for and their living conditions comfortable. I loved that they were exposed to Todd’s young kids early on— a bonus for anyone expecting or with young children. The best part: our puppy Archie is a dream. He is playful, sweet, cuddly and smart. It was important to me that we purchase healthy puppies. He answered every question about the parents genetic health and directed us to an online data base.
